After telling him now to rush it I'm still waiting for it. I was told it was finished a while back but then it wasn't and he had to make the new dies for it. Now I don't know where it is in his lineup of work.

That bites. But so long as you're not shooting it and telling me how well it shoots I am not spending any more money so all is well.
