I was just wondering what 223 non lead have you guys found that work good in your 223. also have you guys even seen anything in a 17 HMR? thanks for your help.

Well, I'm shooting factory Black Hills BLUE box, 36 gr grenades in my 223 bolt gun & Federal Premium 43gr TNT in my mini. Can't say they shoot "good", but will do for the buzzard zone. I normally shoot handloads, but for the buzzard zone the factory ammo will do. Frank

I don't think there are any non-lead .17HMR products out there. Maybe someday....

I just got off the phone with CCI and they told me not to worry lol there is something coming for the 17hmr.

D-Man's right...there's lots of discussion on 223 no lead.I'm using 50gr Varmint Grenades in an AR-15 with 24" bbl 1:9 twist and getting very good accuracy results. Haven't tried anything else yet.
