I was wondering if anyone knows some spots to shoot some doves and quail when it opens, in Chico, ca. i just wanted to go blasting but am new to the area and dont know of any public land to shoot on. Can anyone help me? /And if you are from Chico, ca and want a hunting partner write me and i wil give you my email, so we can go blasting...

We used to hunt quail up towards Bambi Inn 20+ years ago, have not hunted there since. Go out by the sacramento river for dove, you just have to nose around and find a place. Evening shoots are better than am shoots. Quail you can find some coveys out on the west side of chico, that's as much as I will say here. Good Hunting!
