Light from walmart the same one Braz posted $20.Lens $3Cone is old plastic cup freebee.Tape, paint and hot glue nadda.Can't wait to put it to work!

Good idea! That will also handle the heat very well. Let me know how it does on creating that nice red glow we need. How long does that light last on a charge and how long does it take to charge?Darren

That actually looks kind of cool! I hope the heat from the lamp doesn't overwhelm the glue you used. It'd be funny to see the reaction of the coyote if that home made light comes apart as you're getting the bead on him Posted Image.

Just got done shining it around the hood looks like it will work pretty well. Put it on a few cotton tails and it lite them up pretty well. 75-100 yards. The as for the lenght of energy the box says 80 hours but I doubt that. Battery might last 3- 4 15min stands at the most with continous use. But it does come with a plug in for your cigaret ligher. I don't think it gets that hot to melt the cup or the hot glue so it should do well. It is light weight and with a flip of the switch you got the small white light just in case you need it. Those cotton tail eyes shine right up.

Hey, you didn't read that right. Yep, it says 80 hours, but for the LED. For the halegen it says about 10 minutes. Whoops.

Just go try the LED after dark. It is not so bright it will scare then away, but gives a great light to spot the eyes. When you are ready, you can burn them with the halegen with just the flip of the switch.

The red filter just tones the bright light down. Nothing really secret or special about it.
