Makes me think twice about getting wood at night. Wood shed is supposed to be outside the fire defensive space of 100'. Maybe I could beat the lion to death with a stick of oak firewood. Reminds me of a gal up in Modoc county. Takes her two dogs and a 38 when she goes for a walk. Says the dogs are just decoys and the 38 is for her protection. :signs165xk:

Yea, I believe that photo has been around awhile. But the point is still valid, watch your backside. I can testify to that!

I have seen that photo dozens of times in the past couple years.I am not doubting you but how do you know it is photoshopped?I have never heard that claim before.
Hunt with your kids not for them.

I forget where I saw that but look at the cat and his stance. He just walking not stalking. Do you really think any deer would let a mountain lion walk along behind it? If the cat was after the deer they would both be blurry and running. Pretty picture but fake. 30 years as a photojournalist lets me say fake. :cheers:
