2506 Strikes. Went fishing today only one cat fish. got board and was glad to have my 1022 and the 25-06 . started calling. and about five mins later had 3 coyotes sneeking in way out. one was to the left front. and the other 2were coming traight at me. Lost track of the pair so I moved so I could take the single still 4oo yds or so out. saw somthing to the front right it was the pair sneeking in along a line of almond trees no clear shot . then the dog peeked out all I saw was the head and shoulder. the single yote was still taking his time comming in so I took the big guy. 240 steps, at 22 inches a step =140 yard shot I think Ill keep this 2506. 100 grn sp remington factory load . ps. picked off 2 ground squirrels too. Not a bad fishing trip. the coyote was 54 inches from nose to tip of tail

I want the calls that I gave you for Christmas back
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Good job on the coyote. Looks like you made a nice shot on him as well. What call did you use to call him in, and what time of day was it?
