Put new eyes on the 204 but the scope was camo ,oh no it dose not match darn
love the smell of a fresh painted gun. kind of like a new truck. got up saturday ran out to my sighting in place. Played with the sqirrels for a while with the 223. then spent about 30 minutes sighting in the 204, got it to shoot good about 1 inch groups. on sticks. went to my first stand right in the middle of the apricots. looked good the grass was about a foot tall.glassing around I spot a set of ears about 250yrds out, did the little meow call on the old Jonny Stewart , it stands up nice and tall WACK and hair in the air. 39gr between the eyes. walked over to retrieve one headless jack a big buck. second stand same orchard difrent spot. glassing around see two sets of ears only about 100yds out right next together. gave out a low meow both stand up and one runs right at me and stops at 20yrds looks small behind it is a bigger one running to my left it stops crank the scope to 24 power set it too about 200 clear picture WACK hair in the about 3 feet in the air. took and dropped off the rabbits at feeding spot for the yotes call this place next week. went and hit wendys ,chickin nug[guts] went by Gunnuts work talked for a while he gave me a pair of Bifur pods. He had to go and I had time maybe for one more stand . Got to the almonds went to the far side next to some apricots. Good spot for yotes. did the a few sceams on a home made squeeker . then some rabbit screams 25 minnuts and nothing. Moved to the other side of the ochard . Glassed around and see a set of ears long ways out gave a few meows and he starts to move twords me slowly stopping to eat gave out another meow and he stands up high then trots on in but out of the grass comes another and he's chassing the first one. I get up and fallow them they stop I get down get the 204 on the sticks thier not there ? then I see ears one lip sqeek and both stand up Wack hair in the air. the other one just sits there, I reload WACK hair in the air. Thier not coyotes but thier fun dropped these off a another feeding spot.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
