the regulations book says ( there is no open season for taking bear with bow & arrow in the balance of the state ) and there is an archery season for bear, what does that mean

lets say D6 opens Aug 16th for archery at the same time so does bear for that zone archery only. hope that helps

I know bear opens up during the regular season in D3-5..no special archery dates

366 b says that the 3rd Saturday in August is the opener for bear season for 23 consecutive days for Archery.
