I know that I am new here (2nd Post) so take it for what it is worth but on the Pentax scope, they are good to go. Here is a review of a Pentax I wrote a while back for Snipershide.http://www.snipershi...0127#Post320127For the money they are great, I use one on my HS stocked FP10 .308 and while I have a Luppy on my other .308 it is only because I had it when I built the rifle. The Luppy is a damn good scope but I could have bought 2-4 Pentax scopes for what that Luppy cost me.

I have a Pentax 3-9x40 on my 30-06. Had it for about 6 years. Wouldn't give it up for anything.
