Hi guys. Dove season is a little more than a month away, and I need a place to hunt. Very expereinced and safe hunter if anyone is willing to take me along with them, or if someone can point me to a spot in Madera or Fresno county, I'd really appreciate it. I'm aching, shooting clays, and trying to get all my equipment ready for the upcoming season. Up until about 3 years ago I went every year, but school and a lack of location has kept me away for a while. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!! Tim fresnoscca@comcast.net

Tim.... sorry no response yet. You might try http://www.jesseshunting.com and ask there. That is a general forum site which covers Calif mostly.Also.... what's with your email address "fresnoscca" ?? You autocross with the fresno club? Joe Babba is a good friend, but havent seen him since I moved back to Tulare. He painted my Spitfire DM car for me, 10 years ago.Just curious..JohnPosted Image

Tim, give it a couple more days. It's summer so many people are gone and it's always pretty quiet before and over the weekend. I'm sure you'll hear something.

I would love to help. But I have only shot one dove and it was too close so I didn't have much left after that. I got bored so I shot my decoys I guess I need to move when I hunt.

Hey John, nice looking ride...looks familiar. I used to be the president of the Fresno Chapter SCCA, that was like 2 years ago and I never had the desire to change the e mail address, it would require too much work. I'll do it soon. I used to drive a Dodge Neon ACR in DS/GS, until it blew up. I spent the last two years as president without a car to drive. It wasn't much fun, as club politics aren't worth not having a steady ride. Anyway, thanks for the link. I'll check them out.

Well, as of Sunday 8/31 at about 1 o'clock I have not found anywhere to go. Good luck to all you guys going out tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll find somewhere before the season ends or the next one starts! Tim

Drive around looking for Dairies.Find the Jeffe and ask to talk to the owner. Offer to reduce their pidgeon population.Go back during dove season.

A friend brought decoys once. I looked at the other guys and they had the same idea. As soon as he got back to his spot we opened up on his NEW decoys! Man he was upset and we laughed like a pack of hyenas. :good: :signs1180lq:
