I went out today after work looking for a few squirrels that might be out to day.As i was driving down the dirt road I saw this young coyote in the alfalfa.All i had was my 22 lr so what the hell i held the cross hairs about a foot over her missed then i shot again holding over more this time pop i got her.When i walked up i could see it was not dead so i had too shoot-it again and again thats the first yote i killed with a 22 LR.The yote was a young female by the way.

Congrats!! Always nice to get the first one of the year under the belt gives you the yote fever. She must have been out there eating all those squirrels that you have been popping. Good to see that you bought a little bigger cal. to take care of the yotes that 22lr makes it a bit more of challenge.

Thanks slayer........ i was thinking the same thing the yote was eating those dead squirrels.Its a big challenge to hit and kill a coyote past 100 yards with that little 22lr.......it sure was fun i must say.
