I have had this fish mount for some time now hangs in my living room. I caught this fish on a charter out of Miami, FL. I was on vacation visiting my parents. Caught this 5ft 11in wahoo on my 25th birthday. It is only a replica of the real fish most of them are now days. We caught three that day my wife caught one 3ft and a German guy caught one 6ft. I have a magazine somewhere around here with our photo in it. Caught a few bonita that day and some other fish. Great trip. We spent a few days in Key West too.

Wahoo are awesome!! When I left the military I got onto a Gov't contract to maintain the secure comms out of the Marshall Islands and Midway in the late '80's. On Midway, the Navy left behind 3ea Islander 22' boats we used for fishing tuna and wahoo (ono)...poles for the tuna (largest we caught was around 240lbs) and the wahoo generally went over 5'...those were caught on hand-lines...nice mount!
