And Me!, but I'm right handed, but shoot left.

My brother is that way, too.

We took the .204 to the local gun shop and he took off the Leupold mounts and put on Burris mounts that would accept shims. He then bore sighted it so we will see if that works. Both my son and I are right handed but left eye dominate. What a pain.

The left side of the body is controlled by the right side of the brain so only left handed people are in their right mind.
If it flies it dies, If it runs its done, Hook'it, snag'it, gig'it, just kill itFire up the grill cause deer huntin ain't catch and releaseI dig hot chicks in camo bikini's with guns in their hands.

Well I thought I better give you the results of this thread. Yesterday I bought the rifle that capitol put up for sell. I had been fighting with the left hand or right hand thing. I could never find the rifle I wanted in the caliber I wanted left handed. The Remington 700 LV SF would have been high on my list if it was left handed. The first coyote I shot was with a right handed rifle with the second shot and it was running. I hope that was not just luck. I do not reload yet so the .223 will be a little cheaper to shoot. It all just came together.

Hey Congratulations, RLS... You can never go wrong with a 223... even if the bolt handle is on the wrong side. LOLAnyway, it will definitely serve you well, as they are extremely accurate, cheap to shoot and long on barrel life. Which cannot be said of a whole lot of other stuff out there. You did good!Let us know how it shoots / you enjoy it....Frank

I'm confused! I you say I use the right side of the brain, to shoot right handed pistols, rifles, and shotguns, from the left side all because I am left eye dominant. Then I must be using the wrong side of my brain to shoot these same guns from the right side! You guys are confusing me.. Am I right or left, or is it right or wrong. What if I shoot it out my a$$, is that right, wrong, left or maybe in the middle ground? :D

I'd say remove head from rear and shoot which ever way is more comfortable! :D

Hey me too! I used to compete with pistols shooting left hand/left eye, but I only shoot rifles right hand/right eye. I keep telling myself I need to try shooting rifles lefty, maybe I will. Being an ambidexterous shooter can't hurt anything. Who knows, some day you might shoot your eye out like mom always said but that won't stop you if you've got a spare.
