Yesterday morning I dug a deer roast from a yearling doe out of the freezer and popped it into the crockpot. I added onion, potatos, carrots and a few whole mushrooms and let it slow cook all day. That meat was was tender last night! Wow, what a fine meal. So many anti's really don't have a clue what they are missing out on.

Sorry, but we ate all that roast last night! I do have some more in the freezer along with a few loins and some mountain oysters, though.

SBF, sounds great. I cooked up the back straps of my latest pig and man, did it taste good. It was without a doubt the best tasting pig I've ever shot. There is also something about going out to the freezer and pulling a cut of meat out that you harvested yourself. The way it should be.
