Today, 8:00 AM I saw a fox on the meadow, approx. 160 meters from where I was sitting in my tree stand. The first shot was to low, and broke a foreleg on the fox. It run, and turned the left side to me. When the fox reduced the speed after 50 meters, it god the second shot which broke the neck.MauserThis nice picture is to public use. I am very satisfied about my Swift. It?s perfect for fox shooting (instant knock down effect). Of course, something happen when a V-Max make a ?bone crusher? as it did in this case, but normally I have no problems, and broken skin. If the skin is beautiful I use them. I think I can make a pair of moccasins out of the fellow on the picture. Mauser

Nice going.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Hey Mauser,Do you tan the pelts yourself, of send them to a tannery? You mentioned making a set of moccasins. You work the leather as well? I have sewn skins to make blankets, but nothing on the order of a shoe. That takes much more work.db

I have seen these big red fox a couple of times, without shootopportunity. At 9.30 am, on the seasons last day he came out of the wood on the other side of the meadow, and started mouse catching. I estimated the range to 350 meters, and aimed 6 inch above his shoulder. He vent down with a high bullet. The range was ?only? 325 meters. My seasons last red. The season is closed now in Denmark.Posted Image

Nice fox!! Sounds like the club needs to go on a trip to Denmark on a redfox hunt. Nice job when does the season start back up. Do you have any coyotes or anything close besides the redfox?

The ordinary fox season starts September the 1. and closed in the end of January. In addition it?s legal to regulate the pups from July the 1. and continue to when the ordinary season starts, and furthermore in February, all fox, where they cause damage on the rest of the fauna. No! We haven?t any coyotes in Denmark (unfortunately). The last wolf was shot in Denmark in the year 1813.Mauser
