My son and I figured out how to get even with the state for not having a Salmon season this year or probably for years to come. We booked a trip to fish for Salmon and Halibut in Alaska for July. So California, you won't be getting the two grand or so I spend on gas, food, bait, tackle, boat maintenance, launch fees, beer, etc. This year my hard earned cash goes to Alaska!Truckeedan

We are fishing with Larry Cobb who owns King's Run Charters out of Ninilchik. My wife and I fished with him a couple of years ago and had a great time. Caught some big Halibut.
