Went out to a small ranch out in Live Oak CA. The people have had some problem with missing chickens and house cats. Met up with one of my buddies he has yet to kill a yote.Got out there about 4:45 this afternoon had time for one stand. Started out to our destination I had him set up against the fence post and I was setting out the speaker for the call as I looked over my right shoulder ol wiley turned his head we made eye contact he let out a bark and took off. Hunt over got busted. Hate when that happens wish I was paying more attention but hey it happens. :(But we did get a couple of jacks on the way back to the truck so not a wasted trip.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Ya I had my chicken in distress and house cat cards to play but as you seen I never got a chance. But I'm going back in about two weeks and give it another go around.
