I will be buying my son a shotgun soon. 870 or 500? Why?

They both will work I like the 870s I like where the safty is located other than than that they are both good working guns. Do not think the 500 was made when i got my 870. You can get good deals on both.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

I like the Rem 870 too. They are definitely built to last and are an excellent choice.

They are both well made guns and are still around for a reason. But the 870 is definitely mo' betta. Haha. You made a good choice.
