I put our snow camo under a "black light." Wow, did it ever glow!! I have read that coyotes see in that light spectrum. Some hunters swear that snow camo must be treated with UV blocker and others say it's not necessary. Could anybody shed some light on the subject? Thanks. -- ART

Art,I always just cut a hole in the middle of a white bed sheet and wore it like a pouncho ... no idea if it would glow or not.

The snow is glowing to. I do not think that stuff realy works any way. if the snow glows go with the glow
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

I found the information on a website and it also comes in a booklet put out by the people that make UV blocker products and I also asked my daughter who is a Veterinarian. Here is the website: Atsko Technical Information -- ART

If they do see in UV they must not pay much attention to it. I've used everything from bedsheets to white coveralls to Tyveck coveralls and now use the cheapo eastern euro snow camo and the coyotes still don't see me and get pretty darn close, sometimes within feet of me before I shoot them....Walt
