Um, aren't you building one now?And your friend thats elated about 2MOA? wow. I guess he doesn't know the real potential of that thing.Ah yes, another big boy's Erector Set firearm. I guess I'm just too old to get into the black gun thing. A friend told me today that he just bought Stag and was elated that it is supposed to shoot 2 MOA and he only paid $1,200 for it and it weighs a little more than 8 lbs. I asked if he liked the trigger and he said no, but could get a good trigger assembly of $200. Anyone want a Keltec SU16A for $300 with only about 200 rounds through it? The catch is you have to come to Taft to do the transaction and pay the fees.Running and ducking for cover!!!

Isn't it amazing how a little Viagra can stiffen up your trigger finger and make you want to slide it into the trigger guard of a black gun and do a little manipulation? Hope the urge last way over four hours once I finally get my upper.Um, aren't you building one now?And your friend thats elated about 2MOA? wow. And when was the last time anyone here was in combat? Considering he was shooting to try and find the most accurate factory load I think my question is a very legitimate one.Sure, just like you do during combat.

Yes, it is hard. I am planning on ordering Extra High rings. Just haven't done it yet.The muzzle break I got from midway. It's a Levang Compensator made by DPMS.isn't it hard to look threw the scope with out a riser. I have a carbon 15 flat top and with the highest rings still not enough for me. That's my next project to busy playing with my xd.Where did you get that part at the end of the barrel.I need one like that I hate the muzzle break that came with mine it's to loud.
No, I just kept grabbing different stuff. Like I said, probably not the best way to test, I just don't have the patience to mess with it.Did you clean your barrel between groups?
If that's the case, you should shoot a fouling shot after cleaning, then take it out to hunt with. I don't think you are going to like the AR platform. There are a lot of little things that make these more of a pain to use than Bolt guns. My suggestion would be for you to give it to me to hold for you. That way it doesn't corrupt or contaminate your 'REAL" rifles.I have to take a fouling shot with my Keltec SU-16a to get the second shot on after a good cleaning.

Sure it is a ligitimate question and I'm sure you will be joined by others before the day is done. The irony of the situation came to me and I made a failed attempt a sarcastic humor, but not aimed at you. We go to extraordinary ends to try to make a GI rifle, built to the same Mil Specs as the ones the folks take to war, shoot like they are match grade firearms. We shoot them off of expensive equipment at expensive gun clubs, clean the barrel every other shot or so, let them cool between shots, feed them different ammo until the find something the like and I understand why we do this. It's not to post pics of our sub MOA groups, it's to know that the rifle will shoot consistently time after time if the variables are controlled. The point is that if you are in combat and have put 30 plus rounds through the rifle in a short period of time you probably have no idea where you are shooting, or at least where POI may be. And you certainly don't have the time to clean the barrel after every five or one hundred shots depending on the circumstances of battle. I've never been in combat so this is probably a dumb question; do the wonderful young folks who do risk their lives for us in combat go to the range and shoot five shot groups before going to battle? I understand the concept of selecting or developing the best round/load for your firearm and that is a luxury not afforded our service men and women. They take them off a truck and go to war and hope the gun shoot as well, or better, as they can shoot.Sorry if I offended you. I made a tongue-in-cheek statement that was meant to be rhetorical and funny and failed. I can see that any further defense of that statement will end nowhere positive.SteveHAnd when was the last time anyone here was in combat? After I just cleaned it? You gotta be crazy. If that's the case, you should shoot a fouling shot after cleaning, then take it out to hunt with.
Naw, I think I'll keep it. It will be worth twice what I paid for it after the elections - no matter who wins.WoodogI don't think you are going to like the AR platform.
