Lots of those birds up here. I was standing on the bank of the Henry's Fork over in Idaho a number of years back. I was catching puny little trout maybe 8-10" long while the ospreys were diving into a riffle out in front of me that I couldn't reach and were hauling out 20+ inch rainbows. Cool to watch but frustrating.Up in Tonasket, Washington I saw an osprey carry a 8-10 lb carp into it's nest atop a power pole. I couldn't believe my eyes but a newspaper photog was nearby and caught a picture of it that was in the newspaper the next day. Really incredible birds. Bald eagles do that, too.

Very nice pictures. At least they can feed themselves unlike the condor.

Way smarter bird . real cool picks . Theres a pond that I bass fish in . You can see them fishing pretty cool Seen them get a mud hen also .
