Well I finalized a pheasant/grouse rough hunt to Scotland for next Oct. and I'm excited. Never been to Scotland and I hear I have to wear the British Hunting garb. It ought to be fun and a new experience.

You have to get pictures NO EXCUSES ! that sounds like a lot of fun.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Man I've always wanted to go Scotland. Hopefully I get orders to England. Have fun! BTW, what's wrong with wearing a kilt? I almost got married in one. :smiley_kewlpics:

I've already have my wardrobe John. It's rubber boots, kida knicker type wool pants, shirt w/tie and vest+ hunting coat and a nice shooting hat :smiley-funny-post-sign: . No KILT.

I travel to the UK, Ireland and Scotland extensively --- you'll have a great time! I've never booked a pheasant hunt there yet, but sounds like fun. Tell you, when I travel by train through the UK country side, I'm the one who is looking out the window looking for animals...I'd say "did you see the size of that pheasant?"..."did you see that deer" (though the red deer are hard to spot). They all just laugh. For some reason the pheasant look much bigger in the UK.
