Yep, a left handed model. He has 28" models now but won't have the 26 inch models for another 30 days or so.Who makes the 24"? Are you getting a Benelli?

Real tractors have two cylinders and hand clutches.
My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.

Hey, I know you prefer the 20" versions for a dedicated yote gun. I was talking to you earlier about what shotguns I already have (Beretta Al391 28" and Mossberg 590 20"). I know you like the shorter barreled ones, but my semi-auto Beretta is a dream to shoot. So, given that I prefer the Beretta over the Mossy, what choke and ammo would you recommend? As for chokes I would prefer to use my existing chokes that came with the rifle for now, so either one of these IC,IM,FULL,MOD,CL.ChrisTwenty inches because it is easier to swing in heavy cover, lighter to carry and a longer barrel won't make any difference at 40-50 yards with the right choke and ammo if we are talking dedicated predator hunting shotguns. If you want a multi-purpose shotgun I would go with a 24-26 inch barrel unless you want to shoot clays and even then the longer barrel will only give you better sighting ability. The choke is the name of the game.Fire at will guys.

Get some Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote and #4 lead buckshot and try your FULL. Your might even try the IM for kicks just to see the difference. Remember that lead will not be allowed in a lot of the areas you will want to hunt, but will be OK in the area we will go to next Sunday. I bet you will end up getting a Carlson Dead Coyote or other similar choke after you pattern your Beretta. I'm going out this morning to pattern my Mossberg with DC, #4 lead and Rem Wingmaster BB. That's why I invited you to tag along today. I hear you on liking to shoot the Beretta over the Mossie, but remember that you won't be shooting 100 shells on a coyote hunt like you could hunting dove. You will be lucky to get off one or two good shots within the effective 40-yard range. Besides, it will be a shame to see that beautiful 28-inch Beretta barrel all gooped up from sap and other dog poop from dragging it through the heavy cover usually present when hunting coyotes with a shotgun. So, given that I prefer the Beretta over the Mossy, what choke and ammo would you recommend? Everything you are saying makes perfect sense. The bulk of my shooting with my Beretta has been Dove hunting. And yes, with me behind the barrel, that's a lot of shooting.Get some Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote and #4 lead buckshot and try your FULL. Your might even try the IM for kicks just to see the difference. Shoot what is comfortable for you.SteveH

Nope, I meant by next weekend. My lower is still in DROS jail til Thursday. I have the LPK and the adjustable stock is on the way. I am still trying to decide on a upper. I'm sure I am going with the M4 16" config, I just need to decide if I should get the complete flat-top 3H or go with the flat-top with iron sights 2H. I will be putting either the cheapy red dot I have or a high powered full size scope on it. I worry that the front site in the 2H config will be in the sight picture of the optics. I called around to day, online it would take like 10 days to get one of the configs I'm thinking of. There's a shop in Taft (10percent) that may have what I want this week, they are waiting on a shipment. There's one more place in town I need to check out. If I can't get it locally for a decent price, I will just wait the 10 days for online.I picked up a Primo's Dead Dog choke today for my Beretta 28". Now I just need to find some Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote loads. Still not sure if I will be using the shotgun or howa .223 this weekend, but I want to be prepared. :)There I go rambling again......nope haven't finished the AR yet.Did you get your AR build completed?
