The blood did get a little matted in the truck but very large exit wound. Most of the time with my 22-250 over 50 yards I don't even get a exit with my 50grain winchester supr. But 20 yards pretty close.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Done that on a lot of coyotes with my 22-250. When they are farther out in the 75-100 yard range it doesn't seem to happen as often. I have tried just about every combination you can dream up in a 22-250 and it always seems to have the same results when they are close in...Walt

Yep you have to love the good ol' 22-250. Its a little spendy but I take a few hundered rounds with me too shoot the squeeks in Alturas too.

Oh I take a few thousand of my 17hmr and 22lr and 22mag as well just have to take it easy on the 22-250 I need to get me a .223 just have to talk the little lady into it. Saving my money for march Nascar trip.

Oh my dad got himself and I some tickets to go watch Nascar in March so I'm saving some money to lose when I go over there. Never been so it should be some fun.My buddy keeps saying they are seeing more and more squeeks popping up in Alturas each day but the weather can't make up its mind it snows then it rains by the time I get back (March 13) I will need a couple of days to nurse my hangover and I'm gone.
