Shot a coyote while deer hunting ?

was up in the hills deer hunting sitting buy a stump looking over a clear cut. Sat there a while and no movement. so I pulled out the fawn call gave two blaa blaas and two my left this coyote had its after burnners on strait at me zooom it goes past me about ten feet from me runs out about 70 yds and starts circling me it was aready down wind ? any way its circle getting smaller then I came out of shock and got em with the 270. Two days went from super boaring to Wow that was neat ! in 30 seconds. has a nice long coat and tail. 55 1/2 " from nose to tail tip stretched strait out and pulling slightly.Ok realy stretching it! Im a fisherman we do that stuff . heres the picture. called in one more but I need more eyes got away and seen one other .Posted Image
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

That's always fun Tim! :D My deer hunting partners used to get so mad at me because I couldn't leave the coyotes alone either. If I saw them I shot them simple as that. But I never failed to fill my deer tags either so I didn't care. It's the thrill of the hunt. :)

Good job, Tim. That is a good looking coyote. Not all scruffy like the one I have been seeing lower down.
