Well went out to a spot after work today to make at least one stand hoping on two. Well as you can see I didn't even have time to put on my camo. I got to the spot and started in with my Johnny Stewart PC1. It didn't take long and I had two coyotes come running in. All I had to set in was a ditch bank that I had to walk down about half a mile from the truck. Anyways back to the story, He came in to about 50 yards smoked him right in the grape. The other took off to the right about 200 yards broad side running took a shot blew off his front right leg but didn't slow him down took another shot hell mary about 400 yards and he was gone. I looked for him driving around for about a half hour but no luck would have liked the double but not always I'm happy with the one, Just hate to see wounded ones suffer.Oh ya hey Bill I'm trying to keep up notice the white tip on the tail.Posted Image

Good deal. To bad the other left wounded. I know how you feel, rather miss than send them home with injuries.db

Good job on the coyote! You know, I went back and looked at about 100 dead coyote pictures and only found one with a white tip tail on an old print. Pretty strange that I killed two with a white tip so close together and now you get one. Wonder if it's a CA thing? I think there is a stud collie out fooling around when the lights go out...haha!

It must be a California thing because look at all of the women with streaked hair. Maybe it's a surfer spiked hair thing for coyotes. Nice one Jeff.

Nice one :D
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Way to go, Coyoteslayer... Uh, only the white tip coyotes come to callers with no camo, didn't you know? LOLI just quickly glanced at about a half dozen of my (Calif) yote picures, and I'll be darned if none of them have a white tip. I never paid any attention to that. Heck, I don't pay attention if they're male or female half the time, much less the ends of their tail. LOL (I get severely harrassed by my partners for that too btw).Guess there should be some sort of contest or club for white tips, eh?Happy Yote Hunting :)Frank

You know I never payed any attention about the white tips either until Bill D. he got a couple and I got that one and it caught my eye. I looked at some of my old pics too and didn't see any more.
