my son nailed his first limit at Lake Amador on Monday Dec. 24. all were caught on assorted toplined Rapalas. largest was 4 and 3/4 lb. smallest was around 3 lbs. all had bright salmon colored meat when I took the fillet knife to them, so they were all holdovers.Posted Image

We used to drive all the way to Eagle Lake (above Susanville) just for the 2 daily limits of 2 fish because of the great fishing up there.

Now is the time of the year with the lakes turning over and all. Nice catch that's all I did for five years was fish. The wife got tired of me going. Yum! those will be great.

Nice ones.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
