My NEW AR Upper arrived this afternoon. It's from White Oak Armament a division of White Oak Precision. They make some awesome upper kits to full rifles. It's a twenty inch spiral fluted barrel and you can see it above the gun it's going on. I've had this particular gun from way back and yes it has all of the California required paperwork. Now to get some scope mounts and take it to the range.

Whew! looks nice. The rail is a picatinny? If so, you can buy the A.R.M.S quick release scope rings also. They really do put the scope back in the same exact spot. Ive tested it. Very cool...

Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

I thought about a Nightforce Scope but they are awfully BIG scopes. I could live with the price but they're heavy to pack around too. Then there's trying to get the reticle I wanted - IMPOSSIBLE!

So I'm putting a new Burris Short-Mag 4.5-14 with their Ballistic Plex reticle on it. I ordered my scope mount today a LaRue Tactical. They're spendy but it is one if not the only true remove and replaceable mount that doesn't lose zero. They are out of stock though and it won't go out till sometime next week. :angry:

I never know how a manufacturer gets out of stock.

So hopefully a week or so and I'll be out killing things with it.

Yep that will put some coyotes down for sure. I wanted to get the Fab10 in the .204 but I haven't looked to see they have came out with one yet, I'm sure they have.

Yep that will put some coyotes down for sure. I wanted to get the Fab10 in the .204 but I haven't looked to see they have came out with one yet, I'm sure they have.

There are several uppers out there in .204 but I hear the main complaint is feeding due to the steep shoulder on the .204. Works most of the time and then it doesn't. Besides I have .223 ammo coming out of my ears. :angry:

All these CA guys who are buying up these lowers are ordering that SPR too! You're going to be impressed when you get it. It should come with a free "survival" tool as well if you ordered from Larue. Posted Image

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
