Here are some pic's of trout we caught in the Williamson River in Klamath Falls OR. Had a good day landed 12 fish for the day largest one 7.12lbs and down. Fun on a fly rod, and best of all it was a company trip so it was all free ha ha ha. Posted Image

I was using a 5 weight G-Loomis and we were useing some streamers but i caught all of mine on a leach pattern it was really fun if you go i recomend the lonesome duck resort really nice people and great guides.

Nice fish. wish this rain would stop. Im going this sunday rain or shine. cat fish striper or carp any thing that tugs the line.. love fly fishing. do you tie your own? :lol:

I used to tie all my own flys, wrap my rods and the whole ten yards but I don't do to much anymore. Never thought I would but got into the bass fishing (fly fisherman always say never) and have been doing some tournys. What river system do you fish? I do alot here on the feather river. Very good striper fishing and steel head. Wouldn't mind fishing the American River never fished it.

The American isn't anything like it used to be. It's ashame because it was a fabulous fishery when I was a kid.

:)I'm near the Delta and same thing here, about 10-15 years ago, Striper fishing was great! Today its tough to pull out anything decent....I'm just waiting for the Stripers to start running underneath the Golden Gate bridge, then its time to break out the 12ft surf rods!

That water was ice cold I bet they would have been good eating but that part of the williamson river is catch and release only.Ya I have a customer that guides on the Feather river,Sacramento river, and the Delta and he said that this year has been slow. I thought that it would be a great year with all of the water as soon as this weather calms down it will be on fire.
