Wow, I've still got a little bit of an adrenaline rush... Wife & I just stuck our first turkeys! We were sitting in our living room about an hour ago, looked out the window, and saw 5 birds coming up the hill so we grabbed our bows. I am so proud of her since this is her first year hunting plus these are our first turkeys and our first kills with our new bows.

Way to go. Congrats to you and Jamie both. I'm not a turkey hunter but getting a double with bows is probably very rare.

Right on Wes! Tell Jamie that I said she's a "Full blooded badass. Swear to Gawd, man! Look it up if you don't believe me. Once a chick kills sumthin' with a bow they have to give her that title, it's a state law man". :roflmao3[1]:

Thank you everybody! Wife's bird had some beautiful colors on it and a nice beard too so we're having a fan mount made up.Shoot-it- That's not camo, those are my loungin' pants. What can I say? Not like I planned on having 5 turkeys show up in my driveway this morning... :roflmao3[1]:

Really nice pics..The turkeys are so thick in these Tenn hills now that they are eating all the acron crop right out from under the deers noses..I went out to a good spot that I had killed several deer.I got there way before daylight and settleded down against a big old cedar tree.Just at daylight my leg had went to sleep and it was killing me.I had to move it..Boys,when I moved that leg I thought a jumbo jet had crashed on me.. There must have been fifty turkey roosting in that tree and they all went frigin nuts at one time..They was diving out of that tree and every dang one of them was pooping..I liked to have swallowed my snuff. You never heard such a racket come out of one tree..Just messed up my whole day.
