right guys, how far out from your hide do you put your decoys, i put mine about 25-30 yds, and how many do you have out, any particular pattern.I have 5, all on rockers, 2 over a dead lamb( soft toy ) and the other 3 scattered

That sounds like a good setup. 20 to 30 yards max on setting out the decoys unless you are hunting with someone else that can help cover your spread. I've never tried the dead animal toy but that sounds like a winner. I used to use a lot of crow decoys but rarely take more than 6 out now. I do take an owl decoy and that is my main attractor. I just bought one of those flapping crow decoys. Once I get one flapping on the ground I switch to my injured crow sound and it's hard to keep the crows away.
