hey guys a friend of mine is offering me a ncstar scope with a 6x24 power and a 50 mil objective and supposedly the reticle is illuminated. I don't know anything about this scope so any opinions would be greatly appreciated. by the way i would be mounting it on my weatherby .308. thanks.

That scope is very low cost and low quality. A .308 demands a higher quality scope, I'd pass. IMHO

I agree with these guys. But if it is in your budget right now then get it until you can afford something a little better.
