I've been thinking about getting some dove decoys and a motorized one to finish off the spread but I'm not sure what the regs allow. I've heard that they were on the hit list for use when waterfowl hunting. I've found one that is wind powered but the one I really want is battery powered. Which one should I get?
motorized dove decoy regulations?

Sharps, the rifle that made the west safe for Winchester!
Real tractors have two cylinders and hand clutches.
My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.

There's no restrictions on rotating dove decoys that I know of. The wind decoys work good if the wind is blowing but the battery operated ones work all the time and they are not that much more $. Waterfowl allows only wind powered until December then they are still OK as far as I know. The regs. should be looked at so you know for sure.
