They're pretty dark and somewhat hazy in the upper power ranges. Are you sure you need something that powerful for hunting. Maybe a dedicated squirrel or prairie dog or woodchuck gun.

Had a BSA scope on my 22-250 and it didn't hold up.Failed the Walt test. One tip over from resting on the side of the truck and the point of impact changed and I never could get it to keep POI after that. I still got it if you want it Ha Ha . But I wouldn't waste my money on one. Get a Bushnel or some other inexpensive scope...Walt

well ill test this one out im doing a scope for scope swap a simmon's 3-12 for a BSA contender. i need more pawer i cant see way out there with the 3-12.
