Just wondering if anyone out there has any tips or tricks for keeping the funk, stank, mildew gunk out of your wadders? (short of buying one of the wader / boot dryers).thanks,Slappy New Jear Mang!

I was going to suggest the boot dryer I have one and it works great. I bought it for use when I was doing weather stories like rain, flooding and snow. Always had dry boots and waders when I needed them.

Thanks John,Spose that would help quite a bit but not really portable and Although it would help with bacteria, I wonder if it would get ride of it? I.E. if they got "funked up" while on a trip and grew some stank, if you dried them out good when you got home it would help but then the next time you put them on I think that those bacteria colonies would perk right back up to life? I wonder if there is anything out there that is easy, convenient etc. that would whack that bacteria and NOT damage the rubber and neoprene? I have some anti bacterial shampoo and conditioner for my wetsuits... that would probably work but it isn't cheap and requires washing, soaking in a bath tub and then drying etc... a pain in the butt but probably a good "end of the year" treatment.I wonder if there are any foot powders that might work? or baking soda? or a mixture of the two?Anyone?thanksI was going to suggest the boot dryer I have one and it works great. I just hang them on a wader hanger and let them dry. I don't care about stink (I 'm not going on a date) or bacteria, if it hasn't killed me in 40 years of huntin ducks I doubt it will now. I usually wear thermals underneath of varying thicknesses up to polar fleece wader pants for cold under the waders. At the end of the season I sometimes rinse them off and store hanging along with my hunting parka. dale
