I rcv'd an email from a friend of mine in Colorado. 1st day of hunt in his zone. 5hr hunt and a successful 6x6 taken 1/2 mile out of camp...here's a little more of his story and his friend's bad luck as well..."Tom and I setup camp after the hunt, slept out undera tree the night before because Tom got bucked from ahorse and we had to go to the emergency room, lategetting in - nice pics of the finger there for ya. Weatherwas really nice, though a little warm the first day. A frontmoved in and brought a little snow, just enough to makethe pack trail out muddy."nice finger!!

That got to of hurt. Great elk.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Public land, self guided. My friend lives in Colorado...next week he's heading to Montana on a guided elk/mulie hunt in the Bob Marshall wilderness
