Went deer hunting with my son this week we did not see anything worthy of a bullet but the guys next to us did, he said i could take a pic. but no one would stand in front of it LOL. note how much his gums had receded and still in velvet.

He's still in velvet because he's a Cactus buck. Cactus bucks don't shed their antlers and they grow all year long. Their testicles are normally atrophied thus the lack of testosterone needed for shedding their antlers and normal growth.

Here's a couple of Cactus bucks.First one was taken by a farmer on a place I hunt squeaks
This one was taken by a good friend of mine with a muzzleloader in NV last year. It's 38" wide and a 25x27.
