Well Tim (THUMP) and I survived a day in the deer woods. Saw a few. Seem to be moving at night with this bright moon . Well we got board after the fist place. so we put 2 cans next to a stump and backed off 100 yards or so . I took the 1st shot off hand with the 708 . Dead center. I was aiming for the bottom of the can. Tim missed But thats normal. I had too kill something. We looked for deer all day long and saw fawns and does no bucks. Had one dark gray deer by the road ,saw us and ran stopped and hauled butt. Pretty spooky for a doe. . There was a road kill deer on the side of the road Tim wanted to get it and tag it and tie sticks on its head. I did kill a big gray squirrel. I love this 708. light and really no recoil and shoots really straight.

Yep, they are good eating. I'm going to be looking for a few the next time I head out, either the end of this week or next.

Never tasted it! I saw a guy fry up a mess of them and had them with biscits and gravy. Tastes like chicken I guess.
