A bear was walking across Rainbow Bridge (Old Hwy 40 at Donner Summit, Truckee) on Saturday when two cars also crossing the bridge scared the bear into jumping over the edge of the bridge. Somehow the bear caught the ledge and was able to pull itself to safety. Posted ImageAuthorities decided that nothing could be done to help Saturday night so they returned Sunday morning to find the bear sound asleep on the ledge.Posted Image After securing a net under the bridge the bear was tranquilized, fell into the net, lowered, then woke up and walked out of the net. I think I'd move to the side on that last shot. I used to go with fish & game when they made bear captures it was always exciting. But nowadays it's a few a week.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
