This year is quickly coming to an end and I still don't have my bobcat!! grrrr .... My wife doesnt have to work on Friday and has given me the thumbs up to go spend the day hunting!! I would really like to get to fill one of these bobcat tags before the year is out!How is everyone else doing this year? There have been a few bobcats pictures that have graced this forum, but not very many. Lets see those pictures and hear those stories!!!

I'm on vacation now and I'm sick with the crud. Life is sooo unfair...

Yea, I have 2 and a half weeks off from school and I've been sick the last week as well. Go figure!

Don't know where you're hunting but I've seen three out on the MNP but didn't have a tag or camera one we called in and the other two I saw while bird hunting. I have some logger friends that told me they have been seeing quite a few of them up in the San Bernadino mountains.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

This wet weather we're having sure isn't helping. :) A little rain is nice but this downpour is ridiculous. ;)

I wish I could say that, but it's flooded everywhere up here and getting deeper by the minute. :)

Hey Tim,I am not sure to laugh, cry or get mad. :) :P B) I called four of them and two bobcats just prior to the season opening. Haven't seen one since. I went with HioSilver a couple of weeks ago, and we did get some good exercise hiking from area to area. ;) I will post any photos if I do. I wanted to get out for the holiday, but last week we made the family trip to Disneyland (which we were robbed and someone stole all of the Xmas gifts for the kids and relatives), and the weather doesn't look all that good for the rest of this week up here. Maybe Thursday, there's a small break in the storms.db

I made a trip last night for bobcat and ended up taking two guys with me. One guy hadn't ever been predator hunting before and wanted to give it a try. The other had been before but had limited success up till then. I ended up running the light all night and enjoying finding eyes for the guys to check out. We ended up seeing two bobcats in the Owens Valley and a shot off at one. It apparently moved as he pulled the trigger and it took a bullet in the leg and got away. We tracked blood for almost 300 yards before it dried up and it disappeared. Both Tim and Todd had a blast and confess to having a new hobby to spend their hard earned cash on!!
