Well, this is what I got.http://www.remington...magnum_camo.aspIt is the one that lilwes had that he was thinking of selling. We struck a deal and I sent the money off to him today. The question now is how does he have to ship it? I talked to my FFL and he said Wes can just ship direct to me and then I would take it to my FFL. Somehow that doesn't sound right. Wes is checking on his end. What does everyone think? I never bought a firearm by mail before.

Braz, he needs to ship it to your FFL and then you will have to do the DROS and wait 10 days. DROS is usually $25.00 and then whatever your dealer charges for the tranfer. Since it's not new from a dealer there's no tax and it's considered a private party transfer, you will need his information as well. I've done alot of these. Should be no problem! Enjoy the new shotgun!

That was my thought. I just didn't make sense that he could ship to me and then I would take to the FFL. DUH, if I got it would I really take it in??? So, I did send the license of my FFL to him. I don't think he has to use his FFL to ship though. I think he can ship it himself.

Yes he can ship to your dealer himself. He should send it in a case or package it well in a solid box. Good news is he can break it down since it's a shotgun. I've sent plenty UPS ground. I wouldn't put anything on the box other than the name of the person recieving it. Better safe than sorry, don't want big letters saying it's a firearm, it might get lost accidently on purpose.

That is with both . Lately I am staggering the 3 1/2with 3s to get one more in the gun. I cannot brag on the Dead coyote shot enough.With 3 or 3 1/2 it is great stuff. Easy kills to 65 yards..

ehd, what do you do with your empty cases? Do you retreive them or just leave them? Do you reload them? If you have some empties, I think I would like to get some from you. I would like to try making a call, using the brass part as the mouth piece. Let me know if you have some empties laying about that you would be willing to get rid of.

How about a 12 ga all brass shell can send one of those if you like

Hey Braz, have you tried making calls from rifle brass. I have one someone made for me it works pretty good. Maybe we could make a howler our of a .50 caliber?

Have not tried that. I have seen some and they are interesting. I though to use the brass from the shotgun shell, then turn a piece of wood, do some neat tricks to it and hopefully, when done, it would look like a shotgun shell. The reed would be inside where the primer pocket.

The only part that might make it difficult is that the plastic from the casing goes down and fully across inside of the brass. Mounting that to wood might prove difficult.

I'm going to try and remove all that plastic. Sounds like work, but then a good call sometimes is. A couple of 10 gauge shells would be fun too, if anyone has a few they would be willing to part with.After I get that shotgun down here from Oregon I'll be making my own empties.

Just make sure you break it in with heavy duck loads in 3 1/2 . Inertia type gun sometimes won't cycle light loads do to their springs being to stiff or something .Banelli had that problem a few years ago with there SBE talked to a few people at a local skeet range and read it on shotgun world .
