I am from Nevada and there is a seperate season for archery, muzzleloader, and rifle. Is that the case here in California? In the regs I only see archery and general. I did see some additional hunts that are muzzleloader but there are only like 20 tags given.

You've got it correct. And to hunt on those muzzle loader tags you can't use a muzzle loader with a scope.

Not to mention that lead ball will be out of here if they pass the lead ban.

Seems wierd. I guess the peeps from Berkley got their fingers into this as well. I just ordered a bunch of BLM maps so it looks like I will be exploring for a bit. I may stick to archery here in CA and muzzle loader in NV if I can draw a tag. I was there last weekend and saw several large bucks. My dad drew a muzzle loader tag in NV this year so we will be out opening day. Hope to post some pics of a big muley!! Thanks for the info gents.
