Attached File  002.JPG   37.7KB   56 downloads Attached File  017.JPG   70.61KB   58 downloadsThanks ;) This is the one we got over in Colorado last year.. Somehow I remember it being more white ;) Oh well... Still way lighter than anything around here.. I should have done a standing up one. Its belly is snow white.. And up its neck though the pics dont show it as being so white..Here he is all bathed, poofed and I painted the head.. Cant do the paws til they dry... He looks cool laying on the sofa LOL... Wish I could leave him there.. But I suppose humans might want to use the sofa too..

Have NOOO clue yet... guess Ill probably do a dried grass look. Maybe a pasture weeds type look, or a rocky snow type thing.. I am going to play around with bases pretty soon so Ill have the bobcat and this coyote to set on them. Grandmas son came over to borrow some of my tools... And jumped back when he saw the coyote LOL. He said it scared the dog poop out of him LOL.. LMAO I guess it looks real enough LOL...

That's a decent mounting job. I enjoy viewing taxidermy mounts that don't have the teeth bared. I think most people envision all predators have to do is go around snarling at every other animal in the woods. That wood be a great pose for the pup you wanted to mount. As for the Brittany, our girl does the same thing when she is laying down... front legs crossed. I hadn't noticed other dog breeds doing that on a regular basis, but our Brit does.db

Rae, How about laying down in front of a sage bush shadeing itself? I say that as that is how I have seen many do. Beautiful mount. You are indeed a talented woman...Walt

Thanks :504: I like the sage brush idea :signs1111cr: It would have to be short sage brush though because hes going on a table under a deer mount. Might just put him on a nice wood base and call it good. Im having a blast with him LOL.. I have him laying on the sofa, and you can tell instantly when people coming in see him.. They totally stop and you can see them thinking Oh dog poop is it real .. People sure are jumpy these days... Cant understand it.. LOL.. Hubby says I should put the foxpro behind him and do a low growl when people walk in ROFLMAO Wouldnt that be hysterical?? I removed the rods from his feet and painted his pads so now he is done...Attached File  coyotelaying6.jpg   73.32KB   61 downloads
