I don't know any of you guys or gals hunt the mojave national preserve but thought you might like to know that the park service is taking out the water tanks and wind mills that have been there for 100 yrs or more. I do bleieve that when they took over for BLM that it was in the papers that they weren't supposed to take them out. also would like to know if anyone would know where to get more info on this and how to stop them they are giving a death sentence to all of the wildlife using those water sources. There is some great yote and cat hunting up there and I would hate to see it all go to --it because of some nazi rangers.

I understand this subject is still an ongoing battle.... sounds like someone is pushing their personal anti-hunting agenda.

That's really bad news for hunters. I understand that there was an agreement to allow fishing. Unfortunatly there is not a fish on the preserve. Go figure.

they must be anti-hunting the same ranger stopped and blew our call site not once but twice and checked our licenses twice. Does that qualify as harassment?

I generally keep my mouth shut when dealing with the rangers. The guy I was hunting with is a San Bernadino County Sherrifs deputy and he gave the guy all kinds of --ll especially when the guy tried to tell him he couldn't be carrying the concealed weapon he was carrying.

WNt to hear something really funny. When we heard the truck stop we headed back and we were 30 yds from the guy yelling at him and he couldn't see us no wonder they can't see the animals they are killing when they shut the water off and started taking out and capping the wells. e-mailed SCI with the info but haven't heard back from them yet.
