Just wanted to let everyone know that the fishing on the East Carson river, Wolf creek and Silver creek above Markleeville Ca. is outstanding at this time. Due to the low water conditions the fish are stacked up, most of the fish are planters but it is a ball to fish right now. You can catch fish using bait, spinners or using several different fly fishing techniques.------Jim

anyone been catching Kokanee at McClure this year? I heard the water level is 49% of capacity...
