My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.

Congrats on that AZ. elk tag! Two of my hunting buddys got that one too (after many years of putting in for it). From what they say, that's one of the hardest out of state tags to get. Sure hope you have a big freezer for those two elk.Not in CA , I got a great tag in AZ for Elk and a Elk tag in Idaho. I had a friend get an X tag as well, he is all fired up. The bow is ready!

There are some great X7B areas to hunt ...Hwy 89 north before you get to Jackson Meadows (Right side of Hwy 89 as you go North), past Processor area. My neice shot a nice 3x2 with a 24" spread there the other year...I just got my X7B tag in the mail which was a BIG surprise. I only had 3 or 4 points and applied with my buddy who had zero. He is going to be so excited when he finds out. Anyways we must of just got lucky and hit the random draw. Now to figure out how to hunt the area!~!!!!!!In terms of maps, does anyone have a recommendation for one that covers which dirt/logging roads are open and which are closed (and which ones are not just little deer trails like my gazzetter). I obviously need to do a lot of scouting but getting in as far as possible would be a nice start!!!Thanks
