I took the plunge and purchased an ultrasonic cleaner, the kind used for jewelry, on eBay. Read quite alot about them on various forums. The best at 6MM BR. Has anyone used these?? Very inexpensive, $50 and cleaning solutions are cheap. Supposedly does a good job inside and out. If not my wife gets to upgrade her cleaner

I've got a couple of ultrasonic cleaners. One the wife claimed for her jewelry. I've used them a few times for brass but I get brass clean enough in my tumblers I think. I have one ultrasonic cleaner big enough to put my handguns in. That's why I bought it. It works great on bolts too. You have to be careful with some cleaners and brass. You can make the brass thinner in some solutions. Make sure your solutions do NOT contain amonia. Ammonia reacts chemically with [dissolves] brass - severely weakening it!But if I ever needed to get that gnats ass bit more accuracy I'll try it.
