Hey, I'm looking at new Nikon Monarch ATB ( fits my budget ), in this price range, anyone know how they compare with Bushnell Legend 10x42. I'm leaning toward the Nikon 8x42

I don't know but I have a pair of Leupold 10x50 Wind River Mesa binos $180 porro prism and I love them. Rubber coated, waterproof, lifetime gurantee. The 50's are a little big for hiking around, but I am really pleased with them. I had purchased a pair of Cabela's brand roof prism binos for $200 and ended up sending them back because they sucked. Got the Leupolds instead, the difference was night and day!
