I pay about $2.50 each for the Surefire SF123A (3-Volt) Lithium Battery.I used to buy those 3V batteries for a camera, and if I remember right, they're about $6 EACH.

If he used the 7.2v lamp, it's a 600mA lamp.Those 3V batteries are rated at 1400mAh.On paper, disregarding the overvoltage, that means 2 hours 20 minutes.I'd bet more closely at 45 minutes to an hour.
