Multiple beards are not as rare as you might think. According to NWTF biologists, nearly 10 percent of gobblers have multiple beards. In a given area, the occurrence of multiple beards may be higher as the genetic trait is passed along by a dominant, multi-bearded gobbler. How common is the double beard on a Tom?

It was nice being able to walk from the house to where I was going to hunt. Both of his tags are filled, so he's done until bow season opens this fall.I bet that makes you home sick. Or at least tired of your brother getting them all.
